NYX Powder Blush in Pinched - Review + Swatch

So after many hours viewing youtube vids and reading up about nice NYX blush colours to try I finally settled on the powder blush in the colour - Pinched. I was super excited to try this as I had heard that it was a good dupe for Nars Orgasm and since NARS is nearly impossible to get in New Zealand or really expensive to buy overseas and get shipped here I thought this was a good option for me to try.

The colour pinched is beautiful - it is a peachy pink colour with a hint of gold shimmer through it. At first I thought the shimmer was going to be a bit much but after my first application I realised it was a stunning colour. It gives a beautiful healthy glow and gives a nice sheen to the cheek without being over the top.

The downside to this blush is it is a bit powdery however I have found using a smaller brush and not picking up as much product tends to help with that. Other than that - I love it. As for being a dupe for Nars Orgasm I'm not too sure on that one. Going by comparison photos they look similar but again I am not sure.

I paid $15NZD for this on Trademe but next time I purchase NYX cosmetics I think I am going to try out Cherry Culture or Pork Daisy - depending who has the best prices and best shipping rates.

Review: OPI - In my back pocket.

One of my favourite colours from OPI - In my back pocket!

I absolutely love this colour!

It is a very bright orange with a hint of yellow - such a bright, breezy colour to brighten up the cold winter days! I tend to wear a lot of black/dark colours and I find this gives me a nice pop of colour on my nails.

It applies well and stays put. I always use a top coat but to be honest I really don't think OPI colours tend to need one to stay put.

Enjoy!

Until next time!
